Century Construction Services offers 24/7 emergency services for all types of property damage. Century understands how important it is for the insurance company to recommend a contractor familiar with handling the unique relationship between the contractor, insurance company, property owner and possibly mortgage company.

In the event of a loss to your property your insurance company may advise you to use one of their preferred vendors. Keep in mind though ultimately this is just merely a suggestion and the contractor you choose to handle your reconstruction is up to you. However, you want to make sure the contractor you choose is versed in the insurance restoration industry in order to provide a smooth transition from your time of loss to completion of your reconstruction project.

As an experienced insurance restoration provider, Century Construction understands the insurance mandated loss analysis process for damages resulting from water, fire, hurricanes, and other perils. We use an insurance standard estimating software called Xactimate to write your estimate. We also have a vast knowledge of the process of working with your mortgage company to expedite the payment of your loss.

In the event that your property experiences damage due to a disaster:

• Contact your insurance agent immediately to begin the claims process.
• Provide your insurance agency with information about your preferred restoration company. This is important so that we can obtain authorization from your agency to begin the mitigation process. Once your claim has been filed, the insurance agency will issue you a claim number.
• In most cases, an assigned insurance adjuster will contact you to meet at the property location to inspect the damage. It is recommended that one of Century Construction Services’ estimators be at the initial inspection to meet with the adjuster so that we may inspect the damage and write an estimate.
• Once your insurance company has approved the written estimate, we will begin repairs. However, should you require emergency services, Century Construction Services will complete emergency repair work during the estimate process.
